SUITS ALL 2012-2021 Ford PX Rangers, Everests and UP/UR BT50.

This is the ULTIMATE upgrade to your Ranger steering! This completely replaces your weak factory rack ends and rod ends with our HD, CNC machined parts and high strength hardware.

Starting at the rack end, we have a CNC machined clevis, made from 17-4 Stainless steel. This allows us to fit a super strong heim joint, to ensure more vertical and horizontal movement during the steering arc.

Our alloy extensions are CNC machined from 7075 Aluminium which is used on rockets and shit, so you know it's tough. We then hard anodize it to keep it looking pretty.

To fit into your spindle, we machine our tapered misalignments from 17-4 Stainless steel. This is a high tensile Stainless Steel alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. A 14mm high tensile bolt locks it all together.

To allow maximum articulation, we have used a massive DFI 7/8 LH Heim joint for smooth, slop free steering.

We have used a LH thread on the Heim end, so when your tyre shop is doing an alignment they don't need to remove the pin and saves your uprights taper from flogging out.

Finally, you get a nice shiny M12 10.9 nylon flange nut, to ensure your not left holding the wheel with a loose rod end.

To ensure that your steering rack is kept in tip-top condiiton, we also include a super durable set of universal rack boots.

DISCLAIMER

By installing this product you understand that this kit is removing the "fuse" in the steering system (factory rack ends are designed to bend in a bind). This means that there is potential for catastrophic damage to occur to the steering rack itself. G.O.A.T Offroad will not be held responsible for any subsequent failures of your factory steering system due to the installation of this product. In practice, we are yet to have any damage happen to steering racks. The delta between the force to bend a factory rack end and the force required damage a rack is quite big. If you offroad with a logical brain and don't try and smash your steering wheel when your wheel is stuck you will be fine.

Q: Which thread do I need for my Ranger/BT50?

A: This is in reference to the thread size used on the rack side of the steering rack end. Based on our experience, you can not know this merely from your year/spec, as we have found no correlation. Ford seemingly grabbed random racks of the shelf when building the Rangers and BT50. So the only exact way to tell is to slide the steering rack boot back and measure.

Generally if the rack end joint is bigger than 37.2mm, you have a M16 rack. If its smaller than 37.2mm you have a M14 rack.
