Provides 2" lift front / 1" lift rear
To keep the factory performance of your Fox Internal Bypass shocks, you need to keep the piston in the same location as stock. With a spring lift, this isn't possible as the travel is moved 35mm down. This is also detrimental to offroad performance, because it means you have lost 35mm" of down travel, meaning more leg cocking than a dog at the park and an uncomfortable ride.
So to achieve a 2" lift in the front, a strut spacer is the ideal solution. Forget what bull$%@t half baked rumours you've heard from your mates mate about the legalities and dangers of strut spacers. They aren't illegal (as long as they aren't used to exceed the maximum 2" VSB14 approved lift) and they aren't unsafe when they have been designed to work in conjunction with the rest of the suspension system, such as we have done.
Previously, you couldn't fit a 2" strut spacer on the front of the Gen 1/PX3 Ranger Raptor, due to the new extended down travel causing the UCA to strike onto the strut tower. That's why we DO NOT RECOMMEND running these unless you have also purchased our Ranger Raptor UCA.
